Which rooms count under the law?

Rooms that are a permanent occupant's main place to sleep. The law calls them covered rooms.
- Covered roomA room the owner knows, or can reasonably foresee, is a permanent occupant's primary place to sleep.
- Only if electedThe cooling rule applies to the covered rooms a tenant elects.
- NYCHANYCHA's plan must include at least one covered room in each apartment.
